In an attempt to tackle throwaway waste culture, BBC Scotland have announced a proposed legislation to charge extra for single-use cups. If passed, you might be charged between 20 – 25p for your single-use cups. So, if you drink a take-away coffee daily, at worst this could add up to £91 a year… in the bin!
